GIVING BACK
I believe it's important to give back to the community. As a dog and animal lover, I want to help local rescues, shelters and pet charity organisations to support pets find their furever homes and also help to improve the wellbeing of pets and animals.
CANBERRA PAWS CALENDAR CONTEST
2020 is the first year where I launched the Canberra Paws 2021 Pet Calendar Contest. The calendar contest raises funds annually for the ACT Pet Crisis Support. Over the last 5 years I have raised $56,427. These funds will assist ACT Pet Crisis Support with helping disadvantaged pet owners keep their pets healthy by contributing towards medical bills that would otherwise result in euthanasia. All donations go directly towards medical bills.
BOOK PROJECTS
In January 2022 I completed my Tails of Canberra fundraising book project. The book is going to be a limited edition coffee table book showcasing photographs of Canberra dogs with various Canberra locations as its backdrop.
Tails of Canberra book is now available to purchase, there are only a few copies left - keep an eye out and check here for updates on future book projects.
OTHER WAYS I HELP
Throughout the year I have mini sessions or run fundraisers where I donate part of the proceeds from each session to a selected dog shelter or pet/animal-related charity. I also volunteer to photograph dogs who need to be adopted. Some of the rescues and charities I have worked with and contributed to include:
