A golden rule on capturing photos of your pet - Get Down Low!

As a professional pet photographer, getting down low to get the best photos is essential and one of the golden rule that I follow. One of the things I  take pride in is capturing the personality, energy and emotion of each dog or pet I photograph. Every pet is unique and I want to make sure that I capture that individuality in my photographs.

In order to get the perfect shot, I usually will kneel or lay on my stomach so I am at eye level with the dog or pet I'm photographing. This allows me to create beautiful portraits that showcase each pet's personality in a way that can be treasured for years to come. It also allows me to capture intimate, candid moments from the perspective of your pet and helps creates a connection in the photo.

Another benefit of getting down low is that it also helps establish trust between me and your pet as it makes them feel more comfortable. Imaging having someone towering over you with a big camera, this might seem intimidating or scary for some pets.

So here are some photos taken from down low

As you can see, getting down low gets you to capture some striking images! Plus it allows you to get some great expression and connection in the photos.

If you would like to have photos of your dogs captured like the above images, let's have a chat. Book in for a no obligation complimentary consultation appointment.

Angela Schneider - I love the colors in the husky shot. And he's a total looker ... except for those husky derp eyes.
