If you’ve been thinking about doing something special to honour your dog, this is your sign. Not just another phone photo. Not a quick snap in the backyard. I’m talking about capturing their personality, their quirks, and the love you share in a way that you can hold onto forever.
2025 is full of beautiful opportunities to finally say yes to that idea you’ve been sitting on. And I’ve created a few different ways for you to get involved, depending on what feels right for you and your dog.
Whether you want to see your pup in print, raise funds for rescue, or learn how to photograph dogs yourself, there’s something here for every kind of dog lover.
I’m honoured to have been selected as the official 2025 Tails of the World photographer for Canberra. This international book project brings together photographers from across the globe to celebrate the pets who mean the world to us. And now, I’m looking for Canberra dogs to represent our corner of the world.
If chosen, your dog will be professionally photographed, and one image from your session will be guaranteed a spot in the published Tails of the World 2025 book.
Best of all, 100% of proceeds from the book’s sales will support the Geelong Animal Welfare Society.
If you’ve been looking for a meaningful way to celebrate your dog and give back, this is your moment.
Applications are now open. Let’s share your dog’s story with the world.
This one’s for the proud dog parents with a favourite photo and a whole lot of love to share. Submit your dog’s photo, rally your friends and family to vote, and you could win a spot in the 2026 Canberra Paws calendar.
If your dog lights up your life (and maybe your bed, your couch, and your camera roll), this is such a fun way to share that joy. The Canberra Paws calendar contest is all about celebrating the dogs we love while raising funds for ACT Pet Crisis Support. Every vote goes toward helping pets in need. And if your pup ends up in the calendar? That’s just the cherry on top!
Ever taken a photo of your dog and thought, “It’s cute… but it’s just not them”? You’re definitely not the only one. Whether you’re a dog lover wanting to take better photos of your own pup, or a photographer keen to learn how to work with animals, these workshops were made for you.
We’ll chat about how to use natural light, understand dog behaviour, and capture the little things that make each dog who they are. You’ll get to practise with real dogs, ask questions, and walk away with tips you can use straight away.
I’ll be running workshops in both Melbourne and Hobart this year. You don’t need fancy gear or any experience. Just a love for dogs and a bit of curiosity.
So, why now?
Because every stage of your dog’s life is worth remembering. The way they look at you, the way they move through the world, the little things they do that make them them. These are the moments that matter and they’re always changing in quiet, beautiful ways.
This year’s already filling up with moments I’m so excited about and I’d love for you to be part of it!
